RTech Inspiration & History:
Listening to Customers
RTech originated from a simple conversation between two market leaders trying to solve a problem for a business.
While discussing the engineering of a wireless solution order for a customer, a sales representative with a major U.S. wireless carrier asked RTech co-founder Geoff Yearack about a question the customer brought up during an initial conversation. The customer asked the sales rep if a fairly-priced, all-in-one service plan existed that included wireless data, a quality device, installation, professional management, and reliable support—all without having to go to multiple companies, talk to many different people, and have to think through every detail related to their basic needs. After sharing this customer request with Geoff, the wireless rep stopped and asked, “Do you have anything like that?”
At the time, Geoff didn’t have an off-the-shelf solution that was that simple—and it turns out the market didn’t either. He searched and searched for something that would address this seemingly simple request, but nothing existed. That’s just not how the industry worked. For the most part, it still doesn’t work that way. That conversation inspired him to dig deeper.
While listening to customers and market needs can be a trite marketing phrase, Geoff put action to the words that were shared with him. He built a new company that provided exactly what the customer requested and designed it to collaborate with technology companies across the continent so businesses from coast to coast could have access to fairly-priced, all-in-one service plans with those features originally requested by the customer to the wireless sales rep.
RTech Solutions was born on a foundation that focused on listening to customers and simply helping them succeed while solving common business needs with off-the-shelf, turnkey services. RTech is built to make life easier for businesses.
